I believe that learning is best when it is designed for everyone. As an educational consultant and the founder of Empowered Learning & Technology, I leverage over 25 years of experience to help districts focus on high impact instruction and inclusive design. My unique perspective is built on a career that has included: special education, library media, edtech leadership, curriculum/instruction leadership and consulting.

I have served as adjunct faculty since 2018 at the University of Saint Joseph Graduate School of Education, a role that remains central to my professional growth. By facilitating courses including assistive technology, digital design, and edtech theory, I stay at the cutting edge of instructional technology and research-based high-leverage practices. This academic environment serves as an important feedback loop; partnering with university administrators allows me to refine my own approach to inclusive design and accessible digital environments. Engaging with the next generation of educators ensures that my consulting work is grounded in both current academic theory and the practical, evolving needs of today’s diverse learners.

I love collaborating with school communities to drive meaningful instructional change. By helping staff build confidence in tech and adopt high-impact teaching practices, we can transform the classroom experience.
